In this time of pandemic, we, like many other non-profits, are struggling to pay our monthly bills during the shutdown. If you can see yourself clear to send a few dollars our way to help, we would be very grateful. You can just make out a check to the ETPA and write utilities in the memo area. Mail it to 229 S Broadway, Coos Bay, OR 97420.
Or, you can print out Egyptian Theatre 2020 Donation and mail it with your check.
We continue to seek donations towards goals that are central to our preserving and effectively operating the historic Egyptian Theatre for the benefit of the greater Coos Bay area.
Preservation & Restoration: Though we have raised over $1 million from October 2012 to the present allowing us to resolve our theatre’s structural issues, add main floor ADA compliant restroom facilities, enhance electrical service, restore a good portion of the Egyptian’s exterior façade, restore the Broadway marquee and re-open the Theatre, much remains to be accomplished.
You can donate to our Restoration Fund in three ways:
Print a seat-dedication-form.
2. By donating directly to the fund. Do so by printing out the form found here, indicating the amount you wish to donate, and mailing it to us or bringing your form to the Theatre with your check or Visa information.
3. Donating to our Restoration Fund online through PayPal. Donate by clicking on the button near the bottom of the page.
A good way to donate to this fund is by purchasing a tile on the sidewalk in front of the Broadway entrance to the Egyptian that is engraved with a dedication of your choice.
Click Egyptian-Tile-Donation-Form which you can print, fill out and drop off or mail to the theatre.
Support through joining the ETPA as a member: Several hundred families and businesses support the Egyptian Theatre annually by becoming ETPA members. Not only do you receive discounts on event tickets and other benefits by being an ETPA member, your membership fee is a donation that assists us in preserving and operating our community theatre.

Donate while you shop We have set up accounts with two businesses, Fred Meyers and Amazon.com, that will donate a percentage of your purchase to the ETPA. This does not increase your cost, it is a donation by the business and over time, those purchases you make anyway can really help us out.To sign up for Fred Meyers Rewards: Freddie’s is donating $2.5 million per year to nonprofits in the Northwest, based on the customers’ response. You just link your Fred Meyer Rewards Card at www.fredmeyer.com/community rewards. Choose the Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association from the list. This benefit is in addition to your rewards points, fuel points, and rebates; any purchases will accrue points for the theatre. For further information, contact www.fredmeyer.com/community rewards. Our non-profit organization number is 93330 and you should be able to refer to that or the Egyptian Theatre. Look in the Rewards menu on the Fred Meyer site to find the link to Community Rewards. You only have to sign up one time to have points awarded to us every time you shop.
Amazon.com has a program called the Amazon Smile Program. To sign up for this program, click the button below and follow the directions at the site. You will need to sign in to your Amazon.com account and choose the Egyptian Theatre. Once you do that, they will offer you a button for your browser (the program that you use to get on the Internet). Each browser program acts a little different so if you use more than one, you will have to add the button to each browser. Once you do, you only have to remember to click on that button to start your shopping at Amazon instead of going to the Amazon site directly. Amazon will donate .5% of your purchase to the ETPA each time you use the Amazon Smile Program for your shopping.
