Friday night’s Grand Re-Opening was the beginning of a very successful weekend. Over 1000 people attended events over the weekend. Here’s a photo of the box office and new doors. You can also get a nice sense of the new sidewalk. Engraved tiles have yet to be installed but will be coming soon.
Wilbur Jensen and members of his brass quintet entertained the patrons who were gathering on what we like to call “The Egyptian Pedway”. Remarks were made by Greg Rueger, President of the ETPA, Mayor Crystal Shoji and Kara Long, the new Egyptian Theatre Executive Director. Then the group proceeded to the front of the theatre for the film cutting ceremony.
And then the door were thrown open and we were once again OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
